More About Saxon

Saxon Tylney started his theatrical career working as a young assistant with probably two of the last of the great touring magic and illusion shows. He was number one assistant to both "The Great Masoni" and "Levante". He is now based in Birmingham and performs all over the UK as a corporate event magician
For three consecutive years he worked the summer months in Greece, taking part in an international cabaret, appearing before the President of Cyprus and Prince Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Saxon has invented, lectured and demonstrated magic to various societies including the Magic Circle and Eton College and he even held a world record for "lying on a bed of nails".
The British Magical Society is the oldest magical society in the UK and it has awarded Saxon its prestigious  Blue Ribbon for performing excellence.
Saxon has appeared on British and Spanish television as a magical advisor and on-screen commentator with the late Roy Castle in "Record Breakers". Saxon was also one of the first magicians to appear on Channel Five.
He was the first magician to perform at a trade show in the UK. As well as being a trade show and cabaret performer he is an acknowledged expert as a close up magician which gives the personal touch to any function. The guests being entertained with truly close quarter illusions, either at a drinks reception or at the tables during dinner. For a corporate event these performances can incorporate a company theme.
His act is magic and patter and can include audience participation. Saxon does not claim to be a comedian but his magic contains a lot of humour. Many of his routines are exclusive so they will not have been seen before. A delightfully intelligent artist with a presentation suitable for any occasion, Saxon can perform whatever the conditions. He regularly performs at the NEC Birmingham for corporate events and throughout the UK as a wedding magician.
