Starting at reception as the first people arrive; mixing and mingling; showing small hand held magical entertainments; if children want to watch and join in “Great”, although it is explained to them that the magic is really for the grown ups. This is important because if others see the magician surrounded by children, they will assume that what he is doing is “childish” and they will keep away. As an experienced wedding magician Saxon likes his clients to get full value for their money.
Your guests then move on to the tables and sit down. Usually in family groups, each group is entertained with sophisticated close-up magic. At the end of this, Saxon explains that at X o’clock he will be doing a special 20-minute entertainment in the corner of the room for the children. And yes, there will be the odd balloon animal!
If the facilities can accommodate it, a separate room can be used for this. However, a responsible adult must be present all the time while this final entertainment takes place.
